The role of the Board of Trustees is that of Governance of the school.  The Board is responsible for ensuring all the legal and compliance requirements, as stipulated by the Ministry of Education, are adhered to.  They set the vision and direction for the future, ensuring resources are available to achieve these goals.

The Board is not involved with the day-to-day running of the school.  The responsibility of the Principal in conjunction with the School Management Team is to ensure the school operates efficiently on a day-to-day basis.

The Sara Cohen School Board of Trustees usually meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at our Riselaw Road site, 38 Riselaw Road.   Meetings are open to the public.  Please contact the school office for information on upcoming meetings.
